The Grippy Strips 5-Pack

$19.95 In Stock

Skin rolling and fascia stretching is a form of myofascial release. This technique helps release “sticky adhesions” in the tight fascia. It helps encourage fascia to become unrestricted and glide over muscle tissue. The Tiger Tail Grippy Strips can help you “trap” a muscle knot between your fingers and thumb, enabling gentle compression of the fascia and muscle knot to help them release.

Skin rolling is performed by using the thumb and fingers to pull the skin away from tissues and fascia. It is then rolled forward or backward in a constant motion to help separate the tissues from each other. Skin rolling may be effective with breaking down scar tissue. Skin rolling may produce a therapeutic effect, while soothing stress and tension.

Reusable and easy to clean with an anti-bacterial cleaner.

Who Can Benefit

Someone who is recovering from trauma, infection, surgery, or inflammation. Skin Rolling can help to decrease pain and swelling, improve lymphatic flow and nerve function, restore mobility and posture.

Where Does It Work Best

Works great on areas of the body that are recovering from trauma, infection, or surgery, or areas of the body that experience loss of flexibility, limited mobility, or in pain.

  • 1
Make sure skin is clean and dry.
  • 2
Place the Grippy Strips to the skin where the body is experiencing loss of flexibility, in pain, or recovering from trauma, infection, surgery, or inflammation.
  • 3
Use the thumb and fingers to grab the grippy strip and the skin (in pinching motion) and pull away from the tissue and fascia.
  • 4
Gently roll the skin forward or backward in a constant motion to help separate the tissues from each other. This technique breaks down sticky fascia and abnormal links between areas that are not normally attached or linked.
  • 5
After rolling, areas that were tight and released may turn red and release heat. This is a good response.
  • 6
Continue to skin rolling the surrounding area. Move your way down and back up again. Do it repeatedly for 5-10 minutes.
  • 7
Performing skin rolling regularly can decrease pain and swelling, improve lymphatic flow and nerve function, improve range of motion, and restore mobility and posture.
